Legal and geographic scope

Emergency session law appropriating money from the nuclear emergency management fund for off-site response at a commercial nuclear generating station, and assessing the same totals against each consortium constructing or operating such a station. The opened page prints a fiscal year 2025-2026 total of $2,617,991 and a fiscal year 2026-2027 total of $2,711,339. It also prints four allocation lines for each year. Those lines, added as printed, do not equal the printed totals. The act is not a construction permit.

Not approved or still pending

No calendar effective date is stored. The opened chapter limits the appropriation and the assessment to fiscal year 2025-2026 and fiscal year 2026-2027. It does not print the calendar end of either fiscal year, so no expiry date is stored. The four allocation lines as printed do not add to the printed yearly totals, and this record does not reconcile them. No project is linked. The appropriation does not approve a reactor.
