Legal and geographic scope

Order dated 15 September 2025 establishing the Arizona Energy Promise Taskforce. By 1 March 2026 the task force is to deliver reports, including an energy strategy that covers emerging technologies such as geothermal and advanced nuclear generation. The Office of Resiliency is told to coordinate support so eligible solar, wind, storage, advanced geothermal, and nuclear projects can start construction in time for federal tax credits. The order says it confers no legal rights or remedies. The Corporation Commission is outside the order's definition of an executive-branch agency.

Not approved or still pending

The order does not permit a reactor, certificate a site, or appropriate state money for a nuclear project. The 30-day land-department report and the 1 March 2026 reports were not checked for delivery. No project is linked.
