Minnesota Rules chapter 7855: certificate applications for nuclear fuel and waste facilities

Minnesota's certificate-of-need rules require specified information for a new nuclear fuel processing facility and a new nuclear waste storage or disposal facility. A separate rule states what a waste-facility application must describe. The revisor posts the parts as current and marks them published electronically on 14 November 2003. They do not approve a power reactor.

Legal and geographic scope

Current certificate-of-need rules. Rule 7855.0030 lists a new nuclear fuel processing facility, an expansion of one, a new nuclear waste storage or disposal facility, and an expansion of one among the large energy facilities whose applications must supply the information the chapter requires. Rule 7855.0600 states what an application for a nuclear waste storage or disposal facility must describe. The revisor's electronic publication line is 14 November 2003. The rules govern applications for nuclear fuel-processing and nuclear waste storage or disposal facilities. They do not permit a power reactor. The electronic publication line is not an adoption date. Minnesota Statutes section 216B.243 remains the separate certificate statute.
