Legal and geographic scope

It is unlawful for any person or governmental entity to store high-level radioactive waste in Nevada. The section uses the meaning of high-level radioactive waste in 10 C.F.R. 60.2. The compilation says the section was added to NRS in 1989. It does not print a day.

Not approved or still pending

This is a storage prohibition. It is not a power-reactor construction permit and it does not approve a project. The federal definition it incorporates was not opened. The utility-facility permit statute in NRS chapter 704 was opened separately and is not this record. No project is linked.
