ENEC and ADNOC agreement to assess SMRs and advanced reactors for ADNOC operations

In November 2024 ENEC and ADNOC signed a strategic collaboration agreement to evaluate deploying advanced nuclear technology such as SMRs for ADNOC's operations, including a technical and economic assessment of best-fit reactor technologies and studies on using excess Barakah heat. No plant or site is named.
