Nuclep and Rosatom Energy Projects memorandum on large and smaller nuclear projects, including SMR manufacturing (2023)

At the IAEA General Conference in Vienna in September 2023, Brazilian state equipment maker Nuclep and Rosatom Energy Projects signed a memorandum of understanding for the Russian side to develop large and smaller nuclear projects with Nuclep, Nuclep's commercial director said it could let Nuclep lead SMR production in Brazil. It is a memorandum only, with no design, site or order.

Not a deployment project. SMR plans, agreements, studies and government programmes that are not (yet) a single deployment project. They are listed separately and are never counted as projects or reactors.
