US-funded phase-one FEED study for SMR pre-construction activities in Hungary

The US Chargé d'Affaires in Budapest said Hungary was selected for a US-funded phase-one front-end engineering and design (FEED) study for SMR pre-construction activities, World Nuclear Association dates the US announcement to April 2026. No site, owner or design is named.
