Latvia Ministry of Climate and Energy informative report on nuclear energy and SMRs

On 6 May 2025 Latvia's Ministry of Climate and Energy presented the government with an informative report on nuclear energy focused on SMRs, saying Latvia is at an early planning stage and should start with research and capacity building. A 300 MW SMR appears only as a cost example, there is no project or site.

Not a deployment project. SMR plans, agreements, studies and government programmes that are not (yet) a single deployment project. They are listed separately and are never counted as projects or reactors.
