Province of Gelderland SMR action plan and location studies (Dodewaard, Wijchen)
Gelderland adopted an SMR action plan in 2024 and aims to have two possible SMR locations in view before 2027, it says it will not build itself. A Haskoning study (reported June 2026) points to Dodewaard and Wijchen, and feasibility studies have started with interested municipalities such as Neder-Betuwe. No location or technology has been chosen.
