Singapore EMA and KHNP memorandum on joint SMR studies (2026)

On 1 March 2026 Singapore's Energy Market Authority and KHNP signed a memorandum on civil nuclear cooperation focused on joint studies of SMRs for potential use in Singapore, plus training and information sharing. It is a study framework, Singapore has not decided to deploy nuclear energy.
