Türkiye national target of 5,000 MWe of SMR capacity by 2050

In November 2025 Türkiye's energy minister set a target of 5,000 MWe of SMR capacity by 2050, in addition to 12 large reactors. It is a national target, no SMR site, vendor or project has been chosen.

Not a deployment project. SMR plans, agreements, studies and government programmes that are not (yet) a single deployment project. They are listed separately and are never counted as projects or reactors.
