BATAN/BRIN RDE experimental reactor at Serpong (PeLUIt-40 predecessor)
Experimental reactor. BAPETEN issued a site permit for the 10 MWt (about 3.3 MWe) RDE pebble-bed reactor at Serpong in January 2017 and received design documents in 2018-2019. BRIN's 2024 IAEA report says RDE was the initial name of the later PeLUIt-40 design (a 40 MWt uprate) and that licensing was halted after a policy change; the two versions are kept separate and PeLUIt-40 is not itself sited at Serpong in the opened sources.
