AHWR-300
BARC’s vertical pressure-tube reactor uses boiling light-water cooling and heavy-water moderation. The 2016 IAEA ARIS supplement profiles AHWR-300 among land-based small modular designs, at 304 MWe and 920 MWth; BARC explicitly calls the 304 MWe figure gross. The supplement carries an unreviewed/non-official disclaimer and is not regulatory endorsement. Its general profile includes thorium fuel options and is not a second deployment or a separate AHWR300-LEU profile. BARC’s LEU brochure describes a 300 MWe variant; that figure is not substituted into this general profile. No current commercialization, site or licence is inferred.
