DEER (Deployable Electric Energy Reactor)
The original 2009 Canadian Nuclear Society author paper describes DEER as a pressurized-water reactor concept whose complete reactor unit could be transported by existing air, sea or ground vehicles, separately from its steam turbine, generator and heat-rejection equipment. That packaged deployment configuration supports SMRMap inclusion. The abstract describes 10 MWe and 50 MWe variants; no single module electrical or thermal rating is assigned. Developer attribution remains unknown here: author affiliations alone do not establish a Radix vendor identity. DEER is distinct from Radiant’s Kaleidos. This historical concept does not establish current development, a deployment or a regulatory permission.
