Thorizon PIONEER nuclear demonstrator
Smaller non-commercial nuclear critical demonstrator of Thorizon’s chloride-salt core, planned at NRG PALLAS in Petten. The developer paper and April 2026 MoU distinguish PIONEER from commercial Thorizon One and the non-nuclear PILOT. Electrical and thermal ratings are not published here; unknown is not zero. Construction 2028 and operation 2030 are targets, not achieved steps.
