TerraPower and KBR studies of potential UK sites for Natrium reactors (2025)
In September 2025 TerraPower and KBR announced that they would jointly conduct studies and evaluate potential UK sites for TerraPower's Natrium reactor. The UK government's February 2026 Advanced Nuclear Framework announcement described the work as continuing. No site has been named, Natrium's UK Generic Design Assessment is a separate, design-level process.
