Terrestrial Energy and Springfields IMSR fuel-pilot manufacturing contract
On 5 November 2025 Terrestrial reported a manufacturing and supply contract with Springfields Fuels Limited, a Westinghouse subsidiary, for an IMSR fuel pilot plant at Springfields in Preston. It expands an August 2023 planning/design contract. Design and construction were contracted. A 2026 construction start was a target. This establishes neither completed construction, enrichment services, delivered fuel nor a reactor deployment.
