Hunatom and Synthos Green Energy letter of intent on up to 10 BWRX-300 SMRs in Hungary

In July 2025 Hungarian nuclear development firm Hunatom and Synthos Green Energy signed a letter of intent establishing a pre-framework for joint project development for up to ten BWRX-300 SMRs, in the presence of Hungary's foreign minister. It names no site and is not an order.

Not a deployment project. SMR plans, agreements, studies and government programmes that are not (yet) a single deployment project. They are listed separately and are never counted as projects or reactors.
