Respect Energy and EDF agreement to develop NUWARD SMR projects in Poland

In January 2023 Polish energy trader Respect Energy and EDF agreed to cooperate on NUWARD SMR projects in Poland and to start evaluating greenfield sites. EDF later redesigned NUWARD (2024-25). No decision in principle, site or order is recorded.

Not a deployment project. SMR plans, agreements, studies and government programmes that are not (yet) a single deployment project. They are listed separately and are never counted as projects or reactors.
