BALDER experimental configuration
Experimental configuration of Copenhagen Atomics technology planned at PSI. ENSI explicitly describes a container-form SMR test concept, and the NEA design inventory lists BALDER separately from CAWB. PSI’s later FAQ says the earlier approximately 1 MWth/30-day reference case is being developed into a staged programme; its final scope is not settled. No fixed nameplate or commercial CAWB rating is assigned. PSI is the intended operator; the developer supplies components and funding.
