  North Dakota's 2025 House Bill 1025 orders an interim study of advanced nuclear plants, including small modular and microreactors, and appropriates up to $300,000 in general funds and up to $300,000 in nonstate special funds for consulting through 30 June 2027. The enrolled signature lines are blank, and the overview's 16 April filing and 18 April signing lines conflict, so no signature day is stored.
  Not approved or pending: The enrolled signature lines are blank. The overview prints a governor signature on 04/18 and a Secretary of State filing on 04/16, so no day is stored. The act orders a study and a consulting appropriation. It does not site or permit a reactor. The 1 July 2025 date is the biennium start printed in the appropriation, not a stored effective date of the act. The 30 June 2027 date is the printed end of that one-time appropriation, not a finding that the funds remain unspent. Chapters 38-23 and 49-22 were opened and are not this record: the waste chapter prohibits high-level radioactive waste placement in the state, and the siting chapter requires a certificate before construction of an electric energy conversion facility, including non-wind generation above 50 megawatts. Those compilations print no enactment date for the operative sections. No project is linked.
