China's HTGR Modern Industrial Chain Alliance led by CNNC's Chinergy (2025)
CNNC subsidiary Chinergy launched the High-Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactor Modern Industrial Chain Alliance in Beijing on 11 December 2025, bringing together more than 60 organisations. It covers research and design, fuel and equipment manufacturing, construction, operation and overseas markets, aiming to extend HTGR use to heating and hydrogen. It is an industrial alliance, not a deployment project.
