Terrestrial Energy and EnergySolutions memorandum to site IMSR plants at EnergySolutions-owned sites

Terrestrial Energy and EnergySolutions signed a memorandum of understanding in December 2024 to collaborate on siting and deploying Integral Molten Salt Reactor plants at EnergySolutions-owned sites, such as the former Kewaunee plant in Wisconsin, and to select the most suitable site. No IMSR site has been selected, EnergySolutions' later Kewaunee licensing notice with WEC Energy Group names no technology.
