Terrestrial Energy and Riot Platforms memorandum on IMSR plants for data centres (up to 4 GW, 2026)

On 6 May 2026 Terrestrial Energy and Riot Platforms announced a memorandum to pair future Riot data centres with multiple 390 MW IMSR plants totalling up to 4 GW, assessing sites including Riot's existing Texas and Kentucky facilities. It is a framework to evaluate sites, no site, order or licence is recorded.

Not a deployment project. SMR plans, agreements, studies and government programmes that are not (yet) a single deployment project. They are listed separately and are never counted as projects or reactors.
