SPIC Jiamusi nuclear heating demonstration (Hongxing site)
Heat-only district-heating project. SPIC's Heilongjiang branch is the owner of the Jiamusi nuclear heating demonstration project at the Hongxing site in Huachuan county. Its environmental impact report, published by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in August 2020, plans the site for four 200 MWt integrated heating reactors and builds two in phase one, with first concrete then planned for May 2021 subject to state approval. The report applies China's review principles for small pressurized-water reactors and places the project under the state catalogue item for multipurpose modular small reactors. No construction approval or later milestone was found in this pass. The design name is not stored.
