Alvin experimental molten-salt reactor
ASNR describes Alvin as a 200 kWth experimental molten-salt reactor, separately included in the NEA design inventory. It is the first planned configuration of INB Alpha at Cadarache, distinct from commercial Stellarium and the later proposed MegAlvin configuration. The company’s 2030 criticality date is a target. No electrical rating or operating authorization is inferred.
