In April 2012 Ameren Missouri and Westinghouse formed an alliance to seek DOE funding and an NRC combined licence for a 225 MW Westinghouse SMR, built in transportable modules, at the Callaway site. No licence or construction followed in the sources opened; later status was not traced in this pass.
