SGP Industria Rolls-Royce SMR plant (2024 decision in principle)
Poland granted SGP Industria a decision in principle in May 2024 for a plant using Rolls-Royce SMR technology; the location is left to later decisions (press reports name Chmielnik or Daleszyce; WNA gives a different area). In 2026 the ministry told parliament the project is not currently being implemented. Capacity reports conflict and are not stored.

Generic Design Assessment of the Rolls-Royce SMR design by the UK regulators. ONR's page (read 3 October 2026) shows Step 1 from April 2022 to April 2023, Step 2 to July 2024 with published Step 2 statements, and Step 3 under way since July 2024. A GDA assesses the generic design only; it is not permission for any site, construction or operation, and no Step 3 conclusion is recorded here.
