CGN and Tsinghua NHR200-II nuclear district-heating demonstration: NEA-approved preliminary work (2018)
In January 2018 China's National Energy Administration agreed that CGN and Tsinghua University should carry out preliminary work, including planning and site selection, for China's first nuclear district-heating demonstration using the NHR200-II low-temperature heating reactor in North China. No site was named. By 2025 INET described promoting the 'Huapeng One' industrial-coupling demonstration with CGN.
