Aalo fleet proposal at Idaho Falls Power's Energy Research Park
In September 2024 Idaho Falls Power announced negotiations with Aalo Atomics toward a fleet of seven commercial Aalo-1 reactors on land leased at its Energy Research Park. Aalo's NRC pre-application for a seven-unit Aalo-1 plant is titled the Idaho Nuclear Project; its 2026 reference-licence plan names no site, so the current site commitment is unconfirmed. Output and later status are not established; cancellation is not inferred.
