Centrica / X-energy Xe-100 plant at Hartlepool
Centrica and X-energy signed a joint development agreement in September 2025 naming EDF and Centrica's Hartlepool site as the preferred first site, with a 12-unit Xe-100 deployment that could add up to 960 MW. The UK Government listed it in February 2026. No licence application or construction is established.
