Floating nuclear power unit for Gazprom's Kirinskoye fields, Sakhalin
Floating unit, study stage. Sakhalin's 2023-2027 electricity plan records Rosatom and Gazprom working out power for the Kirinskoye and Yuzhno-Kirinskoye fields from a modernised floating unit of 116 MW with two RITM-200S reactors; Gazprom confirmed in October 2023 it was considering the option. No decision or contract was found; later status is unconfirmed.
