Moltex SSR-W at Point Lepreau
NB Power selected Moltex's SSR-W in 2018 as one of two reactors it intends to build at Point Lepreau. Moltex entered administration and Nuclea Energy agreed to acquire its assets in August 2026; project continuity is not established either way. Capacity check: the SSR-W is described at 300-500 MWe, above the usual band, and is included because IAEA ARIS labels it an SMR.
