eVinci DOME nuclear test reactor
DOE's 1 July 2025 release conditionally selected Westinghouse to test an eVinci nuclear test reactor in the DOME facility at Idaho National Laboratory. The same release says the authorization process was still underway. It is not the Penn State FRONTIER proposal. The stated 5 MWe figure belongs to the commercial design, not a measured output of this test.
